Filmed before a live studio audience the whimsical story of how Venus got their mane, fuses theatre with experiential art technics. Join Venus on their journey to owning their power, finding their voice, and being seen. The story spotlights the importance of community, self-acceptance, and communication while weaving in mindfulness and coping skills. A print on demand workbook highlights different experiential activities, writing prompts, and exercises to bring the content into action.
Jeanie Low, is a mental health worker by day, arty pants, accomplice, provocateur also by day. She is a licensed clinical social worker and supervisor with over 14 years of private practice experience who provides therapeutic assistance with all walks of life. Art wise she is an active and experienced producer and a multi-disciplined artist poet in her own right. This Houston native utilizes her art, a focus on poetry and Psychodrama (which uses theater as a means of personal expression) as agents of healing and positive change.
